Many can drive.  Few can truly teach.   You could look a long time to try and find a better driver coach than Michael Ryan Johnson.  Your search would almost certainly end in disappointment.
While I am a beginner who first entered 125 shifter kart racing at 49 years of age I have carefully watched Michael work with talented, up and coming drivers.  His ability to communicate and motivate is unsurpassed.  He takes raw talent and good instincts and polishes it into championship winning racer drivers.
We met Michael when he was coaching a bright young driver whose career had stalled in open wheeled racing.  Michael mentored the young man.  The turnaround was amazing.
With Michael’s help I won the Southwest Roadrace Association Stock 125 Heavy Championship for 2010.
